We also rent pianos for home use, seasonally and long term. Educators agree that playing a "good quality" piano gives students a much better opportunity for success. Understandably, many parents are reluctant to make an investment in a fine instrument until they have a reasonable expectation that their children will proceed with lessons and have a positive musical experience. It is a "Catch 22" situation. Our rental program is designed specifically to address this dilemma.

Every piano in the Gallery is available for rent. We feature seasonal and student rental program, with student rental being most economical. Student rental

rates start as low as $49 per month¹. Like most reputable music teachers, we do not recommend portable keyboards for beginning students. The drop out rate is very high for beginners who practice on portable keyboards. (In general, it costs less to rent a good piano than it costs to buy a cheap keyboard with touch sensitive keys) .

Our program is very simple: You pick out a piano that fits your quality, price and furniture requirements. You will be charged for first month's rental fee, delivery and a security deposit equal to one month's rent and the return delivery charge. Initial tuning is included.

You can keep the piano for as long as you like and you can return the piano at anytime². Monthly rental fees are pro rated if you return the piano in mid-month.

If you decide to purchase the piano, your first six rental payments and security deposit apply toward our Absolutely Lowest Guaranteed Price.  Even if you select a different piano, all of your payments still apply³. If you elect to purchase the piano on an installment plan, your rental payments and security deposit will be credited as a down payment. Most clients find the installment payment is slightly lower than their rental payment.

As you can see, our program is very straight-forward. If lessons work out and you decide to purchase the piano, the rental will have cost you nothing. If things don't work out, you will have spent less that if you had purchased an inferior instrument, but you will have the peace of mind of knowing you gave your child the greatest possible opportunity for success.
