2006 Steinway Piano Holiday Recital:

On December 13th, The 2006 The Steinway Piano Competition Winners performed a special Holiday Recital at the Steinway Piano Gallery Recital Hall. It was a joyous evening filled with youthful energy. The performers were dressed in festive attire, and the parents, the teachers and the Society members were delighted by the sounds of Chopin, Bach and a special finale with a Jazzy version of “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls.”

There could be no better time of the year to enjoy their bright and smiling faces than around the holidays. The performances as well as student interviews were videotaped and will be compiled into an episode of the Steinway Piano Showcase on CN 35 to air in the coming months.

Piano without Pain Seminars:

On November 7th & 8th, 2006 music teacher and performer David Higginson returned to the Steinway Piano Gallery to present his “Piano Without Pain” seminar. The seminar was offered in 5 different time slots, and each seminar lasted approximately 1 hour. Those who attended learned some of the secrets of how professionals play so beautifully without having to read music, and how anyone can learn to play beautiful chords with both hands right from the start.

Higginson will return to the Steinway Piano Gallery on February 13th, 14th, 2007 to present his system that teaches anyone to play the piano the same way professional musicians play.

Upcoming Seminar Schedule:

Day February 13th at 11AM & 3PM

Day February 14th at 11AM & 3PM

Seating is limited. Please call for reservations or for more information at 239-498-9884.
